SCED attends 22nd APEC SME Ministerial Meeting in the Philippines
The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, this morning (September 25) attended the Plenary Sessions I and II of the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Ministerial Meeting in Iloilo City, the Philippines.
During the sessions, ministers from APEC member economies discussed two sub-themes, namely removing barriers to SME trade including entry to markets and advancing modernisation and standards and conformance of SMEs, under the main theme "Mainstreaming SMEs in the Global Economy".
Mr So will participate in the meeting's other sessions this afternoon and speak on government policies and measures facilitating SMEs' sustainable and resilient growth.
