Ladies and gentlemen,
It is my great pleasure to join you all this morning. Today's young people will determine the quality of our future. Enhancing the vocational skills of our young people is crucial to our economic development.
The Vocational Training Council plays an important role in providing education in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Government provides more than $2 billion in supporting its initiatives.
We fully support the Youth Skills Competition. The competition provides an excellent platform for young people of the four cities to showcase their skills in different vocational areas. I wish all of you a fruitful and rewarding experience.
