Mr Wong first visited the Uptown Plaza near the Tai Po Market Railway Station. He toured the shopping mall and visited a shop selling housewares and gifts.

He then visited a catering management company in Tai Ping Industrial Centre. The company has implemented an environmental management system in their food processing procedure. Accompanied by senior management staff, Mr Wong toured various food preparation rooms and was briefed on ways to protect the environment in the production process.

Mr Wong last stopped at a market plaza where he visited a congee and noodle shop, and a Chinese herbal tea shop.
