Public consultation on spectrum policy framework extended

The Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau (CITB) announced today (January 22) that the consultation period on the proposed spectrum policy framework has been extended by one week to January 31, 2007.

The Government launched a three-month consultation in October last year to seek public views on a proposed policy framework for managing the radio spectrum in Hong Kong.

The consultation paper can be downloaded from the website of the Communications and Technology Branch of the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau: www.citb.gov.hk/ctb/eng/paper/index.htm.

Comments on the proposal should be sent to the Communications and Technology Branch, Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau, 2/F Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong on or before January 31, 2007 by post, by fax to 2511 1458/2827 0119 or by e-mail to spr@citb.gov.hk.
