Proposed projects should be :

(a) conducive to the competitiveness of Hong Kong's professional service sector as a whole, or of individual sectors, in external markets; or

(b) able to enhance the standard of professional services in Hong Kong.

Examples are conducting seminars, conference, training courses, research studies and promotional events such as exhibitions.

The Scheme will normally fund projects that will be completed in 2 years. Projects which are intended to be operated on a long-term basis have to demonstrate their sustainability upon the cessation of funding support from the Scheme.

Projects which are or will be in receipt of financial support from any other government funding schemes will not be considered.

The PSDAS Secretariat may from time to time invite applications for funding to carry out projects on specific topics or themes that are important to the further development of Hong Kong's professional services. Solicitation documents will be issued to relevant target applicants and will be posted at this website.
