Unsolicited Electronic Messages (Enforcement Notices) Appeal Board



The Unsolicited Electronic Messages (Enforcement Notices) Appeal Board is an independent statutory body constituted under Part 6 of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance (Cap. 593) to determine appeals against the enforcement notices or any part of the enforcement notices served by Communications Authority under section 38 of the Ordinance. An enforcement notice is a notice in writing, which contains the Communications Authority's opinion, the concerned contravention, and the steps the person on which the enforcement notice is served should take to remedy the contravention or the matters occasioning the service of the enforcement notice within such period as is specified in the notice.
