SCED meets with newly elected members of LegCo Election
The Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Mr Gregory So, today (September 12) met with two newly elected members of the 2012 Legislative Council (LegCo) Election to exchange views with them on policy matters related to the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau.
Mr So said, "Firstly, I would like to congratulate all the newly elected members. I attach great importance to their views and look forward to working closely with them in our policy areas such as tourism, trade and technology.
"I am glad that Mr Yiu Si-wing and Mr Charles Mok, the two newly elected members from the functional constituencies of Tourism and Information Technology respectively, accepted my invitation to meet today. We had very useful exchanges of views on matters that require our attention."
Mr So is also making arrangements to meet with other LegCo members of the fifth-term Council in the coming weeks to enhance mutual understanding.
